IPv6 will replace IP addresses

Till now we used IP addresses to detect the networking of the computers, but now it is estimated to be run out in approximately next 500 days. The unique numbers known as Internet Protocol Addresses helps the user to identify the world’s network devices.

IP address uses four numbers from 0 to 255 to distinguish the computer from one another. There are four numbers which forms the combinations. At present there are as many as four billion combinations. Internet Protocol Addresses are in a way considered to be just like the phone numbers, which have to be entered correctly in order to be connected and identified to other systems as well.

If the numbers entered do not match with the servers the connection will not be made. In this tech world the important aspect is to correctly identify everything, means web-server, router and computers as well.
At present the users of the computer uses Internet Protocol Version 4 since 1980s. Now, it has been upgraded to Internet Protocol Version 6 known as IPv6.
