Best portable laptop speakers

Portability as well as Price are just the two factors among many for any professional to look for the laptop or netbook. The sound produced by the laptops or even the netbooks don’t offer much sound or music for even the casual music lovers, the size as well as their portability does not matter to anyone.

There are many speakers for laptops in order to increase the sound quality for private listening as well as for any function as well. These speakers boost up the volume for the users. These are some of the Speakers which enhance the volume and pleasure as well.

1. Logitech Z 205 portable speakers: These portable speakers are 7.1 – inch wide, 1.3 – inch deep and 2.5 – inch long. It also has integrated audio amplifier and wired connectivity technology powered by USB with 2 years warranty.

2. Altec Lansing BXR 1220 portable speakers: It is 2.8 – inch wide, 4.8 – inch deep and 3.7 – inch long. It has 180 - 20000 Hz Response Bandwidth with 85db signal – to – noise ratio and 80db output level. Apart from all these it also has integrated audio amplifier with wired connectivity technology and Right/left channel speaker: 1 x Full-range driver - 2 inch.

Phillips notebook SoundBar SPA5210 B/27: It is compact, clip-on laptop speaker; USB powered with hideaway cord; carrying pouch included; sounds better and plays louder than the typical internal laptop speakers; which work with Macs and Windows PCs. On the other hand, it has no auxiliary input for audio from non-PC sources.

4. iHome iHM rechargeable mini speakers: The iHome iHM79 compact speakers sound relatively decent for their small size and condense into a small package that travels well. The speakers are battery powered and rechargeable via USB, but on the other hand the speakers deliver some distortion at higher volumes and some hissing at lower volumes.

5. Altec Lansing orbit USB iML237: It is compact and attractively designed; comes with a protective carrying case; produces better sound than most laptop speakers; has an integrated USB cable and a flip-out kickstand for propping the speaker up at a 45-degree angle, but, it has no volume control on the speaker, distorts at higher volumes; can only be used with computers.
