Till now we used IP addresses to detect the networking of the computers, but now it is estimated to be run out in approximately next 500 days. The unique numbers known as Internet Protocol Addresses helps the user to identify the world’s network devices.
IP address uses four numbers from 0 to 255 to distinguish the computer from one another. There are four numbers which forms the combinations. At present there are as many as four billion combinations. Internet Protocol Addresses are in a way considered to be just like the phone numbers, which have to be entered correctly in order to be connected and identified to other systems as well.
If the numbers entered do not match with the servers the connection will not be made. In this tech world the important aspect is to correctly identify everything, means web-server, router and computers as well.
At present the users of the computer uses Internet Protocol Version 4 since 1980s. Now, it has been upgraded to Internet Protocol Version 6 known as IPv6.

Facebook fixed security blemish
Facebook has struck to a security flaw, which allowed the users to listen to their friends chats and also see their pending friend’s request. This helped in exposing the user’s security and also that was just a click away when the user was able to see his/her friend’s personal chat messages and see who had requested to join their network. It was also reported that Facebook temporarily removed the chat facility, while they fixed this security flaw.
It was also noted that this error was only for a limited period and did not stayed for more time. This happened because the bug temporarily allowed the users to easily see their friend’s messages and pending friend requests to be made available to the friends.
This has been the first time that there is any such type of security fault for any organization. As this is always a threat for any organization that there is a security breach and others can see to their work from own profile.
Thanks to the Facebook that they reacted very quickly and fixed the problem as soon as possible, otherwise there would have been the gamble for the users as well.

Apple-the target of the Anti-Trust Investigation
Rumors say that Apple is in the target area of the Federal Trade Commission or the Department of Justice with the feds, which focuses on its new policy which require developers to write iPhone OS apps using only Apple-approved programming languages.
The rule of the Apple would effectively prohibit developers from using third-party code to create iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch applications. Apple's new policy prohibits third-party analytics tools from being inserted into apps, which could make it possible for competing ad networks to serve advertisements on the iPhone OS.
The result of the antitrust was seen when Apple faced the threat of action from the regulators. There were mainly two key issues first, whether Apple's developer policy has an anti-competitive effect on the market and the second, whether the company has justifiable business reasons for imposing the restrictions.
It’s true that Apple can enforce whichever rules it want to enforce, but till the time until it starts dominating the markets. Even if it starts dominating the market it can enforce the rules, but then also company must have enough arguments, which suggests that it has more of a good impact of the restrictions other than doing the harm.

Must have gadgets for Windows 7 Desktop
Windows 7 has taken the Microsoft to the leads as compared with other operating system. The sales of the Windows 7 have reached far away from the expectations, it generated, beforehand. To keep it competing with other operating systems, there are certain desktop gadgets, which should be used by the user and cannot be said "No" to it.
These different gadgets for the Windows 7 Desktop can be listed as:
1. All CPU meter: It is used to monitor dual-core computer running Vista, which wasn’t available in the quad-core version. It monitors the memory usage as well as CPUs, and it packs a lot of information into a small space. The background colours can also be changed according to the preferences set by the user.
2. Windows Orb Clock: This feature helps in making the choice for the electric blue version of the one that comes with the operating system. It helps in giving the clean look, to the computer.
3. Clipboard Manager: This application is used to access previous Clipboard items without opening an Office application. Clipboard Manager looks slick and is feature-rich. The user can also customize the background to fit the desktop, and not just the colour; one can use a photo as the background if the user prefers.
4. Facebook Explorer: Much of the discourse that used to take place through email discussion lists now occurs via Facebook. A Facebook gadget seemed like almost a necessity. It can be configured to run in a smaller or larger width and one of three heights, and the user can specify how often they want to update. The user can also update your status in the flyout.
5. Ultimate Explorer: Ultimate Explorer lets the user search popular sites from their desktop without having to go to those sites first in their browser. It's a compact little gadget that can search Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, eBay, Amazon, Digg, and many more. The user can select up to eight search sites, which enables the user to "snap" quickly from one search engine to another. It also includes a flyout calendar and events feature.
6. Application Launcher: The main feature of the Windows 7 operating system, which annoyed and frustrated the user the most is the omission of the Quick Launch toolbar, but, Quick launch bar serves the same purpose, it can be placed anywhere the user wants on the desktop. The user can configure the number of icons in the gadget section and also change the background image as well.
These are some of the gadgets for the Windows 7 Desktop, which should be used by the user and cannot be ignored at the same time.

Facebook Place aims at Google
Facebook could be sitting on a gold mine of local business listings, which would be loved by the advertisers as well as users, but will not be appreciated by Google as Facebook Places catches the eye of company’s 500 million users.
Like Google has built its own database for local business listings tied to the Google Maps service. It means that someone is looking out for something and also provides the location; the users will have loads of search result to browse for, Facebook Places has some familiar idea with a social-media twist in it.
Facebook users can search an existing list of nearby locations and at the same time can add their own locations and share it with their friends through their mobile service too. This feature will help Facebook to grow strong in local business listing, and will place it near to the services like Google, Yelp, and others loads of companies looking out for local advertising business.
Can Facebook Places change the attitude of people and their way to search out for information, they need.
Will internet users keep on typing the queries in the Google search or people will shift them to this new social networking new feature.
Already Facebook has forced companies to invest time and money in making the Facebook pages and merge both Pages as well as Places to avoid any confusion. Google already might have seen the intention of the Facebook. Google already has tried to enter in the social media activity from their end, but unfortunately failed at all time.
